I’m a licensed counselor in both Pennsylvania and Maryland. I have been a therapist for 15 years and have experience working with a variety of populations. I have worked with children and adults providing crisis counseling, individual therapy, group therapy and psychoeducation. About 8 years ago, I completed my Masters in Business (MBA) and earned a national certification for Human Resources Management (SHRM-CP and PHR). After my MBA and Human Resources certifications, I worked as a Director of Human Resources then as Executive Director of an inpatient behavioral health facility until it closed in March 2020.

Through my experiences, I have found that my true passion is proactively helping women work through the stress they are experiencing before it becomes sometime more serious or impactful. As women, we typically hold many roles, often burning the candle at both ends and taking care of others before ourselves. My goal is to provide support for women who are struggling to create a work/life balance, experiencing career issues or any other life changes (having a child, separation/divorce, new job, etc.) that seem to impact their ability to be the mother, daughter, wife, employee, boss, business owner and woman they want to be.

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to work with my clients because I believe that if we can change our thoughts, we can change how we approach things in our everyday life. This would, ideally, provide less stress and reduce potential for depression, anxiety and other mental health disorders. Our thoughts are extremely powerful and often times, we don’t even realize what we are thinking. I believe that slowing down and taking time to really hone in on our thoughts and actually seeing their impact can provide some great perspective!
